The Black Dog Lake property is a Banded Iron Formation project, hosting a large gold deposit located in the James Bay area. It is a deposit in progress discovered in 1988 by Eastmain Exploration Company; the main target area extends for 500 meters. Previous diamond drilling has intersected gold mineralization over a length of 600 meters and width between one and three meters. The mineralization is found in an iron formation horizon assayed up to 15.2 g/t Au over 0.60 meters and 5.60 g/t Au over 1.1 meters and 4.3g/t over 0.88 meters. The property is the host of two target areas, Black Dog Lake and Black Dog east extension.
